Meaning of Amethyst

Amethyst is a stone of royalty. The beautiful shade of violet was revered in the days of monarchy as it is connected to the crown chakra. It is a very high vibration stone. It has also been used to wear after a night of fun to encourage sobriety, help clear the mind and awaken the consciousness. This amethyst is untreated and is therefore in it's most natural state. 

Crystals have an incredible ability to retain information, hold energy, and cleanse energy. There is no wonder why we use them in our technology today, and there is still much to learn about them. A practice that I may suggest when you purchase a crystal or stone piece, is to take a moment in the day to sit down with it in your hand and close your eyes. Focus on your breath, feel the surfaces of it on your skin, and set an intention. Breathe it into your piece.
